Here’s Why Trump Reportedly Fired Pam Bondi

Does Pam Bondi know that Pam Bondi is “transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector…”

Pam Bondi? Pam Bye-Bye: President Donald Trump just fired the Attorney General.

She’s the second cabinet member to get the boot in recent weeks, after Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem was replaced by Markwayne Mullin last month. Instead, Trump said that Noem was to be “Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas.”

In a post on Truth Social, Trump announced that Deputy AG Todd Blanche will be stepping up in the interim, writing, “Pam Bondi is a Great American Patriot and a loyal friend, who faithfully served as my Attorney General over the past year. Pam did a tremendous job overseeing a massive crackdown in Crime across our Country, with Murders plummeting to their lowest level since 1900. We love Pam, and she will be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector, to be announced at a date in the near future.”

Well, sources told CNN that the reasons for Trump’s frustrations with Bondi were a little more pointed. For one, he apparently isn’t thrilled with her handling of the Epstein files. Now, the House Oversight Committee was scheduled to depose her on April 14 over the Justice Department’s handling of the investigation, which she is still “legally obligated” to do (though, according to the New York Times, she hasn’t actually committed to it yet).

Sources further told CNN that Trump “fumed that she has not investigated or prosecuted enough of his political opponents.” Apparently, this includes former CIA Director John Brennan. However, as the publication points out, it’s not necessarily easy to do so — former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James were both indicted, but those indictments were dismissed by a judge.

CNN’s reporting is echoed by the New York Times, which added, “He has also complained about her shortcomings as a communicator and TV surrogate — a role he thought would suit her talents. Ms. Bondi spent much of the last day making her case to stay in the cabinet, according to two people familiar with the situation.”

We’ll keep you posted with any updates.
