It has been revealed by The Washington State Department of Licensing today how much Israel Adesanya made for his last fight.
This past March, former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya suffered his fourth loss in a row at the hands of Joe Pyfer.
Despite the results of his last four fights and with him looking like he has come to the end of his career, ‘The Last Stylebender’ stated that he won’t be retiring any time soon.
And now, several months removed from his fight at UFC Seattle, it has been revealed by the Washington State Department of Licensing, how much the former champion was paid for the fight.
Who should Israel Adesanya fight next?
‘The Last Stylebender’ refused to retire after suffering his fourth straight loss at UFC Seattle.

UFC Seattle purses revealed
The UFC Seattle purses being revealed comes at quite an ironic time with MVP‘s first MMA event having taken place this past Saturday, with Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano having earned a record for female MMA fighters.
For her first fight in over 10 years and what was a one off appearance, ‘Rowdy’ Ronda earned a disclosed amount of $2.2 million, with the figure expected to be much more with other payments undisclosed.
Carano also earned just over $1 million for her first fight since 2009 with her purse also expected to be much higher than the disclosed figure.
For his 19th UFC appearance, Adesanya earned a disclosed purse of just $500,000, with his opponent, Pyfer, earning $400,000 for his win.

It is worth noting that the pay figures do not include discretionary bonuses, nor do they include ‘side letters’ often used by the promotion when dealing with bigger names.
In the co-main event, former women’s flyweight champion Alexa Grasso earned just $260,000, which is almost 10x less than what Rousey earned for her comeback fight.
The lowest earner on the card was Bruno Lopes, who was paid a flat $12,000 for his loss against Navajo Sterling.
Throughout the lead-up to her comeback to the sport, Rousey continuously flamed the UFC for several things, with the main thing being the ‘poverty pay’.
And with MVP MMA 1 having performed so well in terms of its viewership figures, fighters will be hoping that they can continue to make waves in the sport, offering an alternative to the UFC, and potentially higher pay.
