Earlier this week, Misfits Boxing’s October 10 card took a major hit as popular TV personality Tom Skinner pulled out of a fight with streamer Big Stacks. Tonight, the promotion announced that Skinner has been replaced by former Premier League player James Collins.
Collins is a popular soccer star who played at the European Championships for his native Wales and competed in FA Cup and League Cup finals. Now, he switches his football boots for boxing gloves, and is asking West Ham fans to make the short trip from their home London Stadium to the Copper Box.
“So, this is happening,” Collins wrote in an Instagram story announcing the event. “Would love it West Ham heavy in there on the night… Would love your support.”
