Ian Garry is the odd man out at welterweight
Ian Machado Garry was hoping to fight his way back into title contention against Michael Morales.
Islam Makhachev‘s last opponent recently claimed a ‘date is locked’ for his fight with Morales.
With all signs pointing to Shavkat Rakhmonov being the Ecuadorian power puncher’s next opponent, Garry is in a funny spot.
The #2 welterweight contender will most probably have to look down the rankings to find someone to fight.
Jack Della Maddalena and Leon Edwards are the only other fighters in the top 10 that are currently unbooked.
