Damian Pinas suggests he’s booked ‘easy’ fight with Khamzat Chimaev’s 12-0 teammate for UFC 335

It appears Damian Pinas will fight again before the end of 2026.

The 11-1 middleweight knockout artist has scored three first-round wins since joining the UFC earlier this year.

Most recently, Damian Pinas obliterated Andrey Pulyaev with an uppercut at UFC 332 on October 3.

Damian Pinas vs. Baisangur Susurkaev at UFC 335?

On Wednesday, Damian Pinas was asked about a potential fight with Baisangur Susurkaev during an interview with MMA Junkie.

The 185lb duo have been going back and forth with each other about a clash at UFC 335 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on December 12.

“I moved on because he wasn’t accepting the fight,” Pinas said. “He didn’t want the smoke. So that’s why I moved from, let’s go to the top 15. But if he still wants the smoke, let the UFC send the contract, let’s get it booked. Let’s fight 12th December.

“I’ll show the world that he is not unbeatable. People can beat him. I can beat him, easy. He got a few lucky fights. All the fights he’s won, he was losing. He was losing all of the fights, he just got lucky and won at the end. But with me, that’s not going to happen. You’re not going to get the chance to get lucky.

“T-Mobile Arena, that’s what I want. Any opponent they can give me. Anyone is going to get it.”

A few hours after Pinas’ interview went live, he provided a huge update on social media.

“Guys am thinking that I am fighting p—-keav next. 12 Dec Vegas.” he tweeted.

Susurkaev’s latest social media activity suggests he has booked a fight for the undercard of Charles Oliveira’s BMF title defense against Diego Lopes.

“The hard work continues despite the injuries. I work every day and give it all out,” Khamzat Chimaev’s teammate recently wrote on Instagram.

“12 December. T-Mobile Arena. Las Vegas. Hunter is coming.”
