What’s next for Conor McGregor?
Conor McGregor faces a long recovery process that will keep him out of the Octagon until 2027.
It’s hoped that the Irishman will be fit and ready to return during the second half of next year.
McGregor has just one fight on his UFC contract, which he plans to complete before exploring free agency.
It’s too early to talk about potential comeback opponents, but McGregor has already expressed his desire to cross over to bare-knuckle boxing once his UFC deal is up.
BKFC President Dave Feldman recently told Bloody Elbow that McGregor is 15 months away from debuting in a new sport.
“I think we will see, in 15 months or so from now, Conor McGregor fighting inside the squared circle without the gloves on,” Feldman predicted.
