The 2026 World Cup group stage is complete, and the Round of 32 is set.
The top two teams from each of the 12 groups automatically advanced to the knockout stage, joined by the tournament’s eight best third-place finishers.

The United States, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, France, Argentina and several other contenders are through, while the bracket now shifts from group stage math to win-or-go-home matchups.

Sweden finished third and qualified as one of the tournament’s eight best third-place teams. Its reward? A matchup vs. France on Tuesday in New Jersey.
