Ahead of Prime Day, the 1TB MacBook Air M5 drops to $1,449.
It’s hard to find decent discounts on MacBooks these days, but we managed to spot the M5 MacBook Air down to $1,449 right now, which is well under its $1,599 MSRP. That’s the best price it’s been since Apple raised prices back in June.
The MacBook Air is such an excellent pick of a laptop because it’s thin, it’s light, and the battery lasts up to 18 hours. With such a long battery life, you can leave the charger at home without a worry on your mind — just slide it into your bag and be on your way, which is ideal for students, remote workers, and anyone else out and about.
The M5 chip is super snappy, with a fast CPU and enough RAM that you won’t get bored before your laptop swaps between apps. Whether you’re writing emails, editing pics, or running video calls, this laptop will handle it all beautifully. Plus, if you want to invoice Apple Intelligence into it all, you can do it easily because the M5 chip is ready for it.
The 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display is a pleasure to look at, with support for a billion colors, so photos and videos pop with rich contrast and sharp detail, and text looks crisp during long reading sessions. When it comes to connectivity, you get two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a MagSafe charging port that snaps on and off easily, and a headphone jack. You can hook up to two external displays so you can build the setup of your dreams.
For $1,449, the MacBook Air M5 is an easy pick if you want a light, long-lasting laptop that handles your whole day without breaking a sweat.
