Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest independent hotel brand, is expanding opportunities for travelers to experience independent luxury hotels with three new hotels in China: Tonino Lamborghini Hotel Chengdu, Hotel Banov Townscape Wuhan, and Surya Hotel Shanghai New Hongqiao Center.

From the sophisticated urban energy of Chengdu’s city center and the thoughtful restoration of a century-old architectural landmark in Wuhan, to an emerging luxury retreat within Shanghai’s Hongqiao International Business District, the properties offer a unique perspective on contemporary Chinese hospitality.

These additions further enrich Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio of independent luxury hotels that celebrate individuality while delivering memorable guest experiences rooted in local character.

“These three exceptional hotels in China reflect our long-term vision to welcome select independent luxury hotels as members of Preferred Hotels & Resorts in the market,” said Eddie Wong, Area Managing Director, Greater China and Australia at Preferred Hotels & Resorts. “The debut of our new member hotels in Chengdu and Wuhan is particularly meaningful as it marks our return to both destinations. As we continue expanding our presence across China, we look forward to partnering with exceptional hotels to introduce travelers to the country’s most compelling destinations and experiences.”
