The official website for the television anime adaptation of Kazuma Kamachi‘s Toaru Anbu no Item (A Certain Dark Side’s Item) light novel revealed additional staff and a key visual (pictured) on Friday. The anime series is scheduled to premiere on October 9 at 10.30 p.m. on AT-X, followed by Tokyo MX and BS11 on October 10.

All-girl rock band East Of Eden is performing the opening theme “Ghost Sequence.” Rock band Kisida Kyodan & The Akebosi Rockets (Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T) is performing the ending theme “Meltdowner.”
Kamachi began penning the spin-off light novel under the Dengeki Bunko imprint in March 2023, featuring illustrations by Nilitsu (Shokei Shoujo no Virgin Road). Kadokawa published the sixth volume on February 10, with the seventh volume scheduled for October 9.
Dengeki Daioh began serializing a manga adaptation by strelka (Hinowa ga Yuku!) in October 2023. Kadokawa released the second volume in April 2025.
