If you enjoyed the recent DC x Sonic the Hedgehog comic book miniseries, then we suspect you may be all-in on this all-new crossover from IDW.
In what’s looking like the Blue Blur’s biggest battle yet, he’ll face off against Godzilla in an all-new larger-than-life story, penned by Godzilla Rivals’ Nick Marino and drawn by Sonic the Hedgehog’s Jack Lawrence.
Due out this summer, the team is keeping the specifics of the story under wraps, but we do know from an IGN interview that Sonic Adventure served as a huge source of inspiration, specifically its Station Square sandbox setting.
In addition to the kaiju-sized problems facing Sonic and friends, series villain Dr. Eggman will also be involved, although he’ll be using the chaos created by the King of Monsters as a foil for his own nefarious plans.
IGN has an exclusive look at some of the Issue #1 cover options which will be available when this comic launches later in the summer. Pre-orders are beginning to go live on various comic book websites now, with more to follow as we edge closer to launch.
