RPG Cast – Episode 738: “Golf Innit”

1. My brain overloaded and shut down after the announcement of Trails in the Sky The 1st’s existence, though once I mentally rebooted I did have to wonder if Falcom is actually developing it.

   Before that, I’d say Moth Kubit and Tetris Forever. I think there was something about a new Capcom fighting compilation with Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Yakuza coming to a Nintendo system for the 2nd time?

   • Correction: “Falcom is actually localizing / publishing it”.

2. I’m not sure when, since I have quite the backlog, but I would like to get the Trails in the Sky remake and Yakuza Kiwami. I’m curious about Suikoden and will likely pick up Tales of Graces F as well.

3. After seeing the Direct I quickly went to buy Peglin … on mobile. Not only was it significantly cheaper, but it just seemed like more of a phone game. It’s fine, a decent time waster.

   Yakuza Kiwami is perfect for Switch, though. As for Trails, FC is still the only one I’ve played, so it’s the last one I needed a remake for! Plucky Squire and the DQIII remake were already on my list, and the new Atelier looks very pretty. The weird hoverboard game looks interesting…

4. I am most interested in the trails in the sky remake and Atelier Yumia. I do hope as a PlayStation fan, that the remake makes there someday.
