Lucas spoke last and his speech went long. Towards the end, Hobson began walking into his eyeline and he looked at her and said “should I stop?” She nodded. It was a sweet moment and illustrated the behind-the-scenes of creation of this museum. “Art is in the eye of the beholder,” he said. “If it is emotional to you, then it’s art… I believe wholeheartedly that you get to decide what art is.”
