I’ll start with the Ghost 17—a staple of Brooks’ line and one of our all-time favorite everyday trainer. Like the rest of the Ghost line, this model kills it when it comes to cushioning. If you want the newer model, the Ghost 18, you’ll have to spend up from these savings. They certainly make for a gentle ride and represent a staple of modern, Brooks-designed comfort.

One of my personal favorite running shoes is also on sale—the Ghost Max 2. It is also the shoe that Jeremy Renner spoke fondly of in our big Men’s Health cover story with him. It features more forefoot cushion and offers the same tried-and-true support of the standard Ghost line. Right now, you can snag them for a solid 14 percent off. As I mentioned up above, the Ghost line is incredibly supportive and comfortable. The Ghost Max L takes that to a whole new level. I am not alone in my belief that this is the best trail running shoe from Brooks, it has everything you need to take on any off-road conditions. They look great on the foot, and they will keep your feet protected and help you feel confident with each step. There’s plenty of grip thanks to the TrailTack Green, which I’m a huge fan of in all of the brand’s trail shoes. This shoe will keep you comfortable for the short runs, as well as the longer runs.

This is everything I want from a stable trainer that can also fit right as a lifestyle shoe. The Brooks Beast GTS 24 offers great outsole durability, but that means there is a little bit of weight to be aware of. This is not ideal for long runs, if that is your goal, but if you are looking for a great training shoe that can handle a few short-distance jogs while keeping you balanced for any bodyweight exercises like squats or lunges, this is an excellent pick.

Brooks’ Hyperion line is known for its lightweight yet highly cushioned options. I am a huge fan of this mesh upper, especially during the summer. For the price, you can’t do much better when it comes to a daily trainer that can put you on a great pace.
