Publisher Spike Chunsoft has revealed the release date for Danganronpa 2×2, the expanded remake of the second instalment in the visual novel series.
Check out the new trailer, which ends with a release date of 14th January 2027:
Danganronpa 2×2 is a full remake of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, plus it adds a brand new scenario entitled Slayhem mode, shown off in the above trailer.

Slayhem mode is an alternate storyline that features the same cast of characters in the same setting, but with an entirely different set of murders to solve.
Obviously you can play through the original story, but returning players will have a fresh mystery to enjoy. Both are available to play from the start of the game.
