Simone Ashley may have just played the role of Miranda Priestly’s assistant in The Devil Wears Prada 2, but when walking the runway at Vogue World: Milan, she looked the part of a boss. Ashley marched down the runway in a custom pinstripe Tod’s suit detailed with a belt displaying her initials.
The actress (and, now, singer, after she released her debut EP, Songs I Wrote in New York, earlier this year) was part of Vogue World: Milan’s third act, which mimicked a typical day in the life at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the site of the show.

All of the typical characters who could be seen passing through the historic shopping center on an average day in Milan were present: a mom pushing a baby in a stroller, a woman on her phone, a traveling couple pulling luggage, students gathering, and sciura scurrying. Fellow actresses Madelyn Cline and Laura Harrier, along with the professional skateboarder Keegan Palmer and a number of players from Inter Milan and AC Milan, were also there—what a day at the Galleria!
