Kate Middleton was serendipitously on-theme for the 2027 Met Gala for a recent visit to Dose of Nature, a UK-based mental health charity. On November 6, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared glimpses on Instagram from Princess Catherine’s visit, which reportedly took place in late October.
“A wonderful visit to pioneering mental health charity Dose of Nature, which supports people experiencing mental health challenges through a clinically led program that combines psychology, connection with nature and one-to-one guidance,” the post’s caption says. Along with photos of the Princess smiling as she looks on at people watercoloring outdoors, the post shared a video of a conversation with the charity’s founders, Dr. Alison Greenwood and Dr. Georgina Gould, who discussed how time in nature helps people feel calmer.

For the visit, the princess layered up in what looked to be a Barbour jacket (from Alexa Chung’s collection) paired with a navy blue turtleneck sweater and & Other Stories blue jeans. Of course, Kate Middleton is no stranger to some heritage chic, often reaching for a Burberry trench or a barn jacket for a mosey around the outdoors.
The power of nature holds great personal meaning for the Princess, who has spoken about how nature helped her heal during her cancer recovery. She has been in remission since January 2025, and for her 44th birthday in January 2026, she shared a poignant final installment of “Mother Nature,” her video series that explored the relationship between nature, mental health, and healing.
