In recent years, Bella Hadid has undergone something of a style evolution, shifting from Ugg-wearing downtown New Yorker to Schiaparelli siren on the Cannes red carpet. Having taken a step back from opening or closing almost every major show on the fashion month circuit, the model and Orebella mogul then settled into a wardrobe of equestrian staples. But, with a new season comes a style shift: Hadid has hung up her horse-girl headgear for a very Carolyn Bessette Kennedy-inspired accessory.

In a recent Instagram snap offering a glimpse inside the Orebella boardroom, Hadid debuted a new look that felt worlds away from her Western-leaning aesthetic. Instead, she leaned into something a little more CBK-coded, topping off her crisp white shirt and classic trench with a slim headband. It seems, however famous you are, you can’t escape the pull of Love Story.
Unless you have been living under a rock, you’ll have noticed the CBK and JFK Jr. school of styling taking hold. (Case in point: the two men in suits and Kangol hats I saw loitering outside the office this morning.) And Hadid, already a part of the Ryan Murphy universe thanks to her cameo as a Balenciaga model in The Beauty, seems to be all in on FX-endorsed ’90s wardrobe.
