MMA’s premier promotion will put on an event in Serbia for the first time this summer.
UFC Belgrade will take place at the Belgrade Arena, which has held more than 22,000 people in the past.
On Monday, the powers that be revealed who has bagged the main event slot for the historic event on August 1.

Uros Medic will headline the event in his home country
Uros Medic called to headline in Serbia after knocking out Geoff Neal at UFC Houston earlier this year.
‘The Doctor’ named Leon Edwards as the man he wanted to face next after stretching his impressive first-round KO streak to three in a row.
Ultimately, Medic has, for some reason, missed out on a fight with the former welterweight champion.
Daniel Rodriguez is the opponent who’ll stand opposite Medic in the Octagon at UFC Belgrade.
It’ll be a five-round battle between the fighters ranked at #13 and #15 in the 170lbs division.
Who else is fighting at UFC Belgrade?
Several other fights have been linked to UFC Belgrade, but the card is still far from finished.
Most notably, long-time light heavyweight contenders Johnny Walker and Aleksandar Rakic are expected to make their heavyweight debuts on the card.
