PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past month in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: November 7th, 2026

1) Vikings Running Back Options Ahead of Deadline: The thinking was that re-welcoming Jordan Mason would be the needed boost to the ground attack. Oddly enough, Minnesota isn’t leaning on him very much. Does the playcalling improve? Can the ground game become potent? Everything in football becomes easier with a potent ground attack.

2) Justin Jefferson is Right to be Irate: At some point, the Vikings need to commit themselves to ensuring that a Calvin Johnson situation doesn’t take place. Think a historically-great WR who calls it quits due to the franchise being so consistently poor. Jefferson’s frustration is reasonable and should function as the spark to light the fire of urgency.

3) Vikings Make Some Roster Moves, Just not the Move Fans Want: Mostly nibbling around the edges of the roster. There’s room for that sort of thing but it’s generally not the difference between turning a good season into a great season. People are growing impatient.

4) Tough Times: #1 Kyler Murray Officially Hit the Skids: Put simply, Murray has been playing poor football. Below average. All along, he looked like a clunky scheme fit and those concerns have proven to be well founded, at least so far. Can things improve? Does he even get the chance to start again?

5) Fan Frustration in Vikings 19-15 Loss to the Detroit Lions: Vikings fans tend to be prone to doom-and-gloom thinking. Such if life for a crew of people who have seen no shortage of meltdowns. The MNF game is going to be a litmus test for these Vikings.
