PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past month in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: October 10th, 2026

1) Vikings KOC Updates Justin Jefferson’s Ankle on Pat McAfee: Minnesota’s WR1 is from the New Orleans area. Being able to lean on him for that Saints game would make a massive difference since he has a gravitational pull on the defensive backfield.

2) Vikings Donovan Jackson Meniscus Tear Injury Rocks O-Line: No doubt, the loss of Donovan Jackson to injury is a brutal development. What’s encouraging is that the player being tasked with filling in — sophomore UDFA Joe Huber — played well last week. Since then, he has generated a pile of praise.

3) Should the Vikings Make a Trade for Saquon Barkley?: The great issue here has nothing to do with Saquon Barkley. Rather, the issue rests with the Philadelphia Eagles. Good chance, folks, that Philly isn’t interested in trading away the terrific runner. Maybe a different running back makes more sense.

4) Another Notch in the Vikings’ Defensive Belt: So far, the defensive belt has snagged a pile of notches. Do note, though, that there are some weaknesses that need to be addressed. In particular, there’s the run defense.

5) Vikings QB Kyler Murray Shows Improvement Despite Struggle: The second half of the Week 4 game saw some long-awaited rhythm for the passing attack. Now, it wasn’t perfect, but Kyler Murray formed a connection with TE T.J. Hockenson and RB Aaron Jones. Can that chemistry begin to get formed with Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and Jauan Jennings?
