Two Thai icons who once ruled separate divisions have waited nearly a year for this night. Only one will survive the opening round of ONE’s newest tournament.
Rodtang Jitmuangnon meets fellow former champion Nong-O Hama in a quarterfinal of the 2026 ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix at The Inner Circle 38 on Friday, November 13. The winner moves a step closer to the silver belt and a direct path to reigning ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Asadula “The Dagestan Ninja” Imangazaliev.
The two were first booked for ONE 173 last November, but illness during fight week sent Rodtang to hospital and forced a reschedule.
The #2-ranked contender then crossed into kickboxing for Takeru “Natural Born Krusher” Segawa’s retirement bout at ONE SAMURAI 1 in April. Having stopped Takeru in 80 seconds in their first meeting, Rodtang was finished by fifth-round TKO in the sequel.
Back with ONE, the Jitmuangnon Gym product sits one win shy of 275 career victories, with five title defenses from his earlier flyweight reign behind him.
Nong-O, ranked #3, ruled the bantamweight division through seven straight title defenses before reinventing himself at flyweight. The 39-year-old now counts 268 career wins.
A second-round loss to Imangazaliev in March slowed him only briefly before he outpointed Kongthoranee Sor Sommai in their trilogy bout at The Inner Circle 20.
The fight pits relentless forward pressure against a tactician who picks his moments with a right kick.
Shimon Yoshinari faces Ramadan Ondash in prodigy clash
The same card features #4-ranked Shimon Yoshinari, a 22-year-old former WBC Muay Thai World Champion who holds a 27-1 record and has never lost in ONE. His unanimous decision over Johan “Jojo” Ghazali at ONE SAMURAI 1 earned him a US$100,000 contract, and he followed it with a home-crowd knockout of Suablack Tor Pran49 at ONE SAMURAI 3.
Across the ring stands #5-ranked Ramadan “The Scorpion” Ondash, a 19-year-old Tiger Muay Thai knockout artist with a 14-4 record. Since moving up after a narrow loss to now-interim strawweight king Aliff Sor Dechapan, he has beaten Suriyanlek Por Yenying and Ghazali, setting up a test of Shimon’s southpaw precision against his blistering hand speed.
