With the window for the college basketball transfer closing soon, one more Penn State player has opted to enter his name into the NCAA transfer database. Forward Tibor Mirtič is the latest Nittany Lion to enter the transfer portal. The news of the transfer portal move was first reported by League Ready, via X (formerly known as Twitter).
Mirtič spent one season in Happy Valley but it was a season that was hampered by a pair of injuries. HE suffered a knee injury midway through the season and then a shoulder injury later in the year. His season was officially over before Penn State got out of February.

Mirtič is the eighth player from Penn State’s roster last season to enter the transfer portal, which leaves Penn State head coach Mike Rhoades with plenty of work to do in filling out the roster for next season. In addition to those players entering the transfer portal, incoming freshman Jamison White just decided to reopen his recruitment.
The NCAA transfer portal is scheduled to close on Tuesday, so time is running out for Penn State an other programs looking to work their rosters for next season. Penn State has added four players from the transfer portal to fill some spots on the roster, but there are still a couple of spots to fill on the roster for next season at this point in time.
