Kinley Rasmus is one of the breakout stars of the summer, but her 2026 Little League World Series came to an end Wednesday.

Rasmus and Alabama (Southeast) lost 11-2 to Ohio (Great Lakes) in Wednesday’s elimination game. While her team came up short as she was ineligible to pitch, she reached base in one of her at-bats via a walk.

Here is a look at her box score stats:

Both teams were 3-1 entering play and competing to remain in the tournament, but the primary storyline surrounding Alabama has been Rasmus.

As Johnny Flores Jr. of The Athletic detailed, the two-way star made plenty of history in this year’s Little League World Series. On Tuesday, she set the record for the most hits in a single tournament by a female player after she already tied Mo’ne Davis’ record for the most strikeouts by a female player.

Yet she was not eligible to pitch in Wednesday’s game after she threw 54 pitches in Monday’s victory. With that amount of pitches, she is required three days rest before she can return to the mound.

And Ohio took advantage of her lack of availability to pitch.

The victors scored four runs in the first inning, added three more in the third and never looked back. They also pushed across four runs of insurance in the last inning to remove any doubt regarding the outcome.

Bryson Williams notched three hits, while Jack McAdams, Bob Frazier and Finn Dykes each tallied multiple RBI. Ohio was relentless at the plate and finished with 12 hits and eight walks.

It wasn’t just offense, as Williams and Josiah Infante combined to strike out six while allowing just two runs on the mound.
