Paul Felder will be stepping into Joe Rogan’s spot this weekend in Abu Dhabi.
UFC 333 takes place this Saturday with title fights in the featherweight and bantamweight divisions topping the card at the Etihad Arena.
Earlier this year, Joe Rogan wanted to see Alexander Volkanovski compete at the White House in order to “spice up” UFC Freedom 250.
While the long-time commentator will likely still be tuning in to watch the champion face Movsar Evloev after highly anticipating this matchup for some time, he won’t be in attendance for it.
Is Alexander Volkanovski going to be able to keep Movsar Evloev off him for 5 rounds?🤼
Volkanovski has a takedown defense rate of 68% and has been taken down by the likes of Brian Ortega and Diego Lopes😬

Paul Felder takes Joe Rogan’s spot alongside Jon Anik and Daniel Cormier at UFC 333
Joe Rogan watched the likes of Damian Pinas deliver statement performances at UFC 332 last month in Salt Lake City, Utah.
However, the stand-up comedian and podcaster won’t be fulfilling his usual color commentator role at the promotion’s numbered events this Saturday.
This won’t come as a surprise to long-time fans, as Rogan made the decision many years ago to not make the trip for international cards.
MMA Junkie revealed during fight week that 15-fight UFC veteran Paul Felder will be filling this open spot in the three-man commentary booth on October 24.
‘The Irish Dragon’ will slot in with the familiar team of Jon Anik (play-by-play) and Daniel Cormier (color) to call the fights in Abu Dhabi.
UFC 333’s broadcast will also feature a fighter who has competed at the Etihad Arena in two of his last three outings.
