Israel Adesanya is excited to show fans what he’s capable of following a tough run.
In July, Adesanya left his long-time home at City Kickboxing in a big move for the former two-time middleweight champion.
It appears that ‘The Last Stylebender’ needed a change of scenery and to freshen things up having not won since April of 2023.
With Adesanya being linked to an upcoming event in Saudi Arabia, he recently spoke about where his mindset is heading into his next bout.

Israel Adesanya says the last three years haven’t been ‘fun’ when looking ahead to his Octagon return
Shara Magomedov called out Israel Adesanya earlier this year and it looks like he’s going to get his wish in the coming months.
Since he reclaimed the middleweight title by stopping Alex Pereira in their 2023 rematch, things haven’t gone the way of ‘The Last Stylebender’.
He’s since suffered four consecutive losses and has been finished in each of his last three outings.
On a recent episode of the Precision podcast, Adesanya revealed that he’s now signed the contract for his return to the Octagon.
The former two-time titleholder got fired up when talking about the work he’s been putting in and his expectations after battling through such a difficult time in his career.
“I’ve missed this s—,” he said. The last three years have just not been fun. I’ve been lost. So, I’m found again and I just can’t wait to showcase everything and yeah, you’ll see. You know me, I speak from the heart and I don’t want to let this get bigger. I just want to show you guys.”

Israel Adesanya seemingly teased the location of his next fight
Israel Adesanya acknowledged that it’s easy for him to talk about what he’s going to do in his next fight considering the losing streak that he’s on.
Therefore, the 37-year-old chose to keep it brief when talking about what fans can expect to see when they tune in.
“All I’m going to say is there is going to be blood in the sand… There will be blood in the sand, and it won’t be me,” he said.
This may not be an intentional hint that he’s fighting in Saudi Arabia, however, given that it’s Adesanya, it seems more likely that this was intended.
