Eddie Hall

Eddie Hall is one of the strongest men in human history, with a documented track record in combat sports, but a five-time BKB champion would drop the gloves with the hulking human if there were the proper amount of zeroes on the cheque. The combatant in question is Scott McHugh, who battles Rolando Dy for the latter’s Police Gazette diamond super welterweight title at BKB 60 on October 10th.

McHugh was seen in photos on Hall’s social media circa May, with the former World’s Strongest Man intimating that he would be curious about a bare-knuckle boxing bout after recently engaging in gloved boxing. Hall, who has also had MMA fights previously, boxed against Tommy Fury in a highly buzzed-about Misfits Boxing bout that saw Hall lose on points. But it seems like gloveless combat is potentially calling Eddie Hall now.

When ‘The Mute’ was asked about his thoughts on someone like Eddie Hall stepping into the BKB Mighty Trigon, McHugh quipped [via Bare Knuckle Bowker],

“If that f***er hits you, you go to sleep. Look at size of him [laughs]. You know what I mean? One punch can change anything in this game. But look at him. If he hit you, Eddie Hall, you’d be f***ed. You’d be dead. Yeah, like what do they weigh? F***ing hell, 50 stone or something?… Money’s right, I’ll fight Eddie Hall bare-knuckle. Mate, I would. I’ll fight anyone.”

Eddie Hall’s future in Misfits Boxing touched on by MFB promoter after Tommy Fury throwdown

Eddie Hall and Tommy Fury will again be throwing down, potentially in December, but against fresh new adversaries this time out. This was discussed by the face of MFB, with Mams Taylor being the figurehead being referenced here. During an interview with talkSPORT regarding when fans can see Hall and Fury compete next, Taylor stated,

“We’ll announce this in due course, but we’re looking forward to working with Tommy and Eddie again soon. And there is a whole host of other fighters that will be out again soon, some new and some familiar faces as well.”
