Denzel Boston is one of the top-rated players from PFSN’s Big Board still available entering Day 2 of the NFL Draft. The wide receiver from Washington has to wait at least one more night, but on Friday, he’s more than likely to join the pros.

Denzel Boston’s Landing Spots: Where Could He Land?

Boston was a dark-horse pick to be taken in the first round, but the writing was on the wall when Omar Cooper was made to wait until the 30th pick. As such, he enters Day 2 as the best receiver still available, and he likely won’t have to wait too long to hear his name called.

He has two seasons of consistent play to his name. Since 2024, Boston has 1,715 yards and 20 touchdowns. Washington has done a great job preparing wide receivers for the NFL in recent years. Case in point? Rome Odunze being a top-10 pick in 2024.

Here’s a scouting report on Denzel Boston, provided by our NFL Draft HQ:

“While not an especially twitchy athlete, Boston moves efficiently for his size, stacks cornerbacks on the outside with smooth explosion and long-strider speed, and competes well through contact. He boasted a miniscule 1.2% drop rate in 2025 per TruMedia. With more than enough fluidity, tempo management skills, and zone IQ to function as a route runner, Boston has an appealing X-receiver profile, and has impact starter potential.

Based on PFSN’s Big Board, he’s the 7th-best remaining player available in the draft. As such, he’s likely to be a top-50 pick. Before Day 2 starts, James Palmer tweeted that defensive tackles could see a run early in the second half, which could see him fall a bit further.

Expect a DT run here early I’m told.

Some teams jump as possible landing spots for the wide receiver. The San Francisco 49ers, who hold the first pick of the day, hosted him for a pre-draft visit, with Brandon Aiyuk all but out of the team and Ricky Pearsall struggling with injuries. The Houston Texans, with pick No. 38, also had him as a pre-draft visit.

The Miami Dolphins, who are reportedly trying to move up in the draft, also had him as a pre-draft visitor. The Dolphins traded Jaylen Waddle before the draft, and Tyreek Hill left the team. He could be an option there as well.

Finally, a surprise team could be the Buffalo Bills, who traded back multiple times in the first round of the draft and also need to upgrade their receiving group. The Bills hold the No. 35 pick.
