The fight everyone wanted to see in BKFC won’t be happening due to Mike Perry’s plans.
In April, Darren Till signed with BKFC on a three-fight deal that had everyone talking about one matchup in particular.
Perry has been accused of running from Till by choosing to explore MMA instead of making a huge bare-knuckle grudge match that has been a long time coming.
The comments exchanged between the two men haven’t done anything to change the former face of the promotion’s goals moving forward.

Mike Perry says it’s safe to say he won’t fight Darren Till in bare-knuckle due to his career goals
It has been over a year since Mike Perry stopped Jeremy Stephens at BKFC 82.
While ‘Platinum’ achieved incredible success in the promotion, he’s now ready to focus on new pursuits by stepping away from bare-knuckle.
Perry was asked about his BKFC future in a recent appearance on the Ariel Helwani Show, where he confirmed that it’s not in his plans.
“Yeah, it’s good to get that out,” he said. “I’ve kind of had some feelings about it. That bare-knuckle stuff is like a cheat code I guess, those two-minute rounds. I was good at it, it was fun, I made some noise doing it and I’m ready for another challenge. So, I think MMA is in my foreseeable future and I’m gonna give it my best shot.”
Since his last bare-knuckle fight, Perry has competed twice in MMA, beating Nate Diaz on Netflix before a loss to Brandon Jenkins in August after he suffered an injury.
The former UFC fighter was specifically asked about Darren Till during the interview and provided the following response.
“Safe to say that I don’t think that Mike Perry and Darren Till in bare-knuckle is a thing. I kind of did my thing and now it looks like we’re going a different way.”

Conor McGregor could bring Mike Perry back to BKFC
While fans want to see Mike Perry fight Darren Till, this isn’t enough to change the mind of ‘Platinum’.
One thing that could make him alter his MMA plans is the involvement of the promotion’s part-owner, Conor McGregor.
McGregor has made it very clear that he wants to compete in BKFC once he’s competed in the final fight on his current UFC contract.
It’s hard to imagine that the prospect of a return to face off with ‘The Notorious’ wouldn’t tempt Perry to come back to the promotion that he’s been such an asset to.
