UFC commentator Daniel Cormier is Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s close friend and former AKA teammate.
The former dual-weight champion has a personal relationship with many of the fighters from Dagestan.
So no one was surprised when Cormier defended Usman Nurmagomedov’s behavior at UFC Shanghai.
Darren Till is sick of hearing what he views as biased takes from ‘DC’ when it comes to fighters with the last name Nurmagomedov.
In an angry rant on Tuesday, the one-time UFC title challenger advised Cormier to retire from commentating on MMA fights.
“Why is DC always on the defensive of the Nurmagomedovs? Baffles me? You, as a company man, should [know] he shouldn’t have stormed the Octagon like that,” Till tweeted.
“The guy is celebrating his big knockout against a huge name. But somehow you have found a way to defend him, you little potato head. Why, why, why?
“I am going to be honest: as much as I think you are one of the best fighters ever in the UFC, the way you are as a company man and the views are f—ing s—.
“Stop commentating and go and be an ambassador for fat camp, you f—ing potato man, constantly finding excuses for that side, you little potato.”

When is Darren Till’s next fight?
Darren Till has launched successful careers in boxing and bare-knuckle since leaving the UFC in 2023.
‘The Gorilla’ picked up a second-round KO win over reality TV star Aaron Chalmers in his last fight.
Till survived an early knockdown when he made his debut at BKFC 90 in Birmingham, England, on May 30.
The 33-year-old will have his second bare-knuckle boxing bout in Manchester, England, later this month.
He will face former UFC star Yoel Romero in the main event of the highly anticipated BKFC 94 card on September 26.
If he wins, Till is hoping to set up a long-awaited showdown with the ‘King of Violence’ Mike Perry.
