Bella Mir is returning to action for the first time since her effort to land a UFC contract was thwarted last month.
Mir was one of the biggest favorites in the history of Dana White’s Contender Series when she took on little-known Alex Apodaca in August. She started well, but was unable to stop her gritty rival and ultimately lost on the scorecards in a historic upset.

Daughter of UFC legend Frank, Bella Mir is considered something of a super-prospect in MMA. However, she is also renowned for her grappling and has ambitions of wrestling at the Olympics, which she will continue working towards when she gets on the RAF Wrestling mats next month.

RAF Wrestling have released the full card for their big Las Vegas debut on October 23, headlined by a bizarre clash between Arman Tsarukyan and Dillon Danis. Khamzat Chimaev will take on former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler in the co-main event.
One name that stood out on the poster was Bella Mir, who confirmed that she will face 7-3 MMA fighter Hope Chase in her first RAF Wrestling match. She is known for her ability on the ground, and gets the chance to show it against a veteran of the cage.
Mir is a NCAA champion, and infamously told Dana White during a meeting that she expects to win UFC and UFC BJJ titles as well as an Olympic gold medal in the coming years. She will go some way toward that goal should she come out on top in this big comeback event.
