UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan is not slowing down.
The Armenian has been keeping busy away from the UFC Octagon while he awaits a title shot that many think is long overdue.
Since being denied a spot in the interim lightweight title fight at UFC 324, Tsarukyan has stayed active in wrestling matches and submission grappling contests.
He’s most notably been competing under the Real American Freestyle banner, where the fight announcements keep on coming for ‘Ahalkalakets’.

Arman Tsarukyan vs Tony Ferguson joins the RAF 10 card on June 13
Tsarukyan defeated MMA legend Urijah Faber last time out at RAF 08 in Philadelphia. The new wrestling organization’s next event comes in Texas on May 30, and the top UFC lightweight contender will also be involved.
On a card that features Gable Steveson’s RAF debut, as well as outings for Colby Covington and Merab Dvalishvili, Tsarukyan will wrestle influencer Mugzy.
While that match was only recently announced, the Armenian already has his next assignment lined up.
On Thursday, RAF announced via social media that Tsarukyan will welcome UFC legend Tony Ferguson to the mats at the tenth event on June 13.
The contest is the second confirmed for RAF 10, which takes place in St. Louis one day before the UFC event at the White House in Washington D.C.
UFC featherweight Aaron Pico will be returning to his roots on the RAF 10 card, having recently entered the winner’s circle on MMA’s biggest stage for the very first time.
The 2016 Olympic wrestling alternate will face Lance Palmer, who Tsarukyan beat to emerge victorious from his RAF debut this past January.

Both Pico and Ferguson will be competing on the RAF mats for the first time.
‘El Cucuy’ has bounced back outside of the UFC after being released following the promotion’s worst-ever losing skid.
Ferguson knocked out Salt Papi at Misfits 22 last August to get off to a winning start in the promotion.
That result saw him collect the interim Misfits middleweight title, and he went on to unify the titles by beating Warren Spencer in December.
