She started fighting at 6. By 8, she was taking on boys. By 10, she had over 100 fights — more than 70 of them against boys. But in 2013, the sport banned her from fighting boys entirely. Now Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom steps into a Muay Thai world title fight.
Allycia Hellen Rodrigues defends the ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Title against ONE Women’s Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion Phetjeeja in the main event of The Inner Circle 19, streaming live for members at live.onefc.com from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, June 19. Rodrigues grew up in Fortaleza as the daughter of a professional soccer player, started capoeira at 7, found Muay Thai at 13, moved to Thailand in 2018, and won the ONE World Title in her promotional debut.
She stepped away from the sport to have a son and returned after two and a half years, working through a complete physical and mental rebuild, to reclaim her position as the most dominant women’s atomweight Muay Thai fighter in the world. She is now a five-time ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion on a three-fight winning streak with two stoppages. If Phetjeeja wins, she becomes only the second woman in ONE Championship history to hold world titles in two disciplines simultaneously at atomweight.
In the co-main event, ONE Heavyweight Kickboxing World Champion Samet Agdeve makes his first title defense against former ONE Heavyweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix Champion Roman Kryklia in a rematch. Agdeve claimed the belt at ONE Fight Night 37 in November with a dominant five-round performance against the Ukrainian veteran. Kryklia arrives with his full pedigree and a clear score to settle.
Samet Agdeve’s road from sleeping on Stuttgart’s streets to defending the ONE Heavyweight Kickboxing World Title
Samet Agdeve’s story behind the belt is as remarkable as the performance that won it. He left Izmir for Stuttgart at 18 with no contacts, no accommodation, and no German. Agdeve slept on the streets, found work as a night security guard, and trained after every shift. He made his professional debut six months after turning 18 and has not lost since.
Rifdean Masdor, a three-time IFMA World Champion and SEA Games gold medalist who began fighting professionally at 12, faces Iran’s Javad Mozafari in atomweight Muay Thai. Canada’s Olivia Bahsous meets Thailand’s Phontip Khlongtoeiyouthcenter in a catchweight Muay Thai opener, with both making their ONE Championship debut.
