Alex Pereira’s head coach Plinio Cruz was caught in the middle of a wild parking lot brawl in Miami.
Since moving to the UFC in 2025, Patricio Pitbull has struggled to adapt to life in the premier promotion, losing two of his first three fights.
In his last outing against Aaron Pico, the Brazilian veteran suffered some injuries that will likely keep him out of the Octagon for the rest of the year.
That, though, didn’t stop him from engaging in a wild brawl with this past Saturday, ahead of what was supposed to be his brother Patricky Pitbull’s debut in Karate Combat.

Plinio Cruz attempts to break up wild brawl involving team Pitbull
Ahead of his scheduled debut this past Saturday, Pitbull and his opponent Shahzaib Rind clashed at their pre-fight face off, sparking a huge brawl between the two teams.
But that wasn’t the end of it as on the morning of their scheduled fight, Rind and his team reportedly ambushed Pitbull and his team with water guns at the fighter hotel which led to Pitbull’s team chasing them out onto the parking lot.
That is when absolute chaos ensued as both teams then began brawling with countless punches and kicks being thrown involving several fighters.
At one point, Patricky can be seen being caught by a punch which then leads to him shooting for a takedown on his own teammate as blood runs down his cheek.
With several fighters now on the floor engaged in grappling, Alex Pereira‘s head coach Plinio Cruz steps in, in an attempt to calm everyone down and stop the fighting.
After suffering a cut on his eye, Pitbull was subsequently pulled from his scheduled fight by the Florida State Athletic Commission, ‘suspending the fighters they deemed appropriate’.
Shahzaib Rind wasn’t one of the fighters who was suspended by the commission as he was in the hotel during the wild brawl.
Fortunately for ‘King Khan’ Karate Combat found him a replacement opponent and he went on to retain his title with a knockout win.
