Alex Pereira has been consistently outlining the risks of fighting since his recent defeat.
Some have critiqued Pereira for the way he’s reacted following the defeat he suffered on the White House lawn just over a week ago.
The likes of Dana White, on the other hand, have reasoned with Pereira because he does not have a track record for being so vocal about why he believes he lost.
‘Poatan’ himself has now shared a post on social media that appears to suggest that he might be weighing up whether it’s worth him fighting again due to the risks involved.

Alex Pereira hints at retirement when continuing to call out health risks of illegal shots
Alex Pereira has been critical of referee Herb Dean for not penalizing his opponent for landing shots to the back of his head on June 14.
Since then, ‘Poatan’ has repeatedly shared posts on his social media that show people making similar complaints or providing examples of how damaging this form of illegal blow can be.
The latest in this series saw Pereira comment on a video that was speaking about a similar situation via his Instagram story.
“Honestly, I’m afraid to go back to fighting with all this going on,” he wrote in both English and Portuguese, referencing fouls not being punished. “I think I’ve already done my part.”

Just one week after the heavyweight title fight at the White House, shots landing to the back of the head and not being addressed became a talking point once again.
Pereira highlighted this and criticized Dean further over the stoppage of the UFC Vegas 119 fight between Vinicius Oliveira and Andre Fili.
These latest comments are a complete change of direction from what the Brazilian star was saying before he made his heavyweight debut.
Pereira sent a message to the division during fight week in which he urged people to start training so that he’d have opponents that are ready and willing to face him as soon as possible.
