Some people use Amazon’s Prime Day to buy TVs or MacBooks, but I always use it as an excuse to grab new Lego sets at a discount. As a collector, I’m always trying to add a few new sets to my stash without spending all my money on the addictive plastic bricks. I also love to give Lego sets as gifts because they’re basically two presents in one: an activity and shelf decor.
Right now, most of the sets still on sale for the second day of Prime Big Deal Days are on the smaller side, but if you’re looking for a present for a Star Wars, Marvel, or auto fan, plenty of options remain. I’m also always looking for the biggest discounts, or sets that are rarely on sale—like this Ultimate Formula 1 set that features ten cars and hasn’t been seen at this low of a price since Black Friday last year. Many of the best deals I spotted on day one already sold out, but you can still get worthwhile ones below before the sale event ends tonight.

If you feel the need for speed, the Ferrari FXX is part of the brand’s Technic line, which means it has moving elements like pistons in the engine. It also means that it’s a slightly harder build, so it might be a challenge for beginners.
Last thing to note: Lego advent calendars notoriously sell out every year, so grab them while they’re on sale if you (or your kid) want to open them come December 1.
