Amazon’s October Prime Day (also known as Prime Big Deal Days) ends tonight, and I’ve been tracking the best deals on home gym equipment. When it comes to building out a home gym, your best strategy for home gym shopping when you don’t have a ton of room to work with is to focus on versatility and efficient use of space. That’s why I’m keeping a close eye on adjustable dumbbells in particular.
Adjustable dumbbells are a favorite category of mine because they let you go from five-pound to 50-pound weights (or more!) without needing multiple shelves of equipment. Where individual pairs of dumbbells from five to 80 pounds in five-pound increments would cost well over $1,500 (and take up your entire home gym), adjustable dumbbells condense an entire weight rack into a compact, versatile system. Here are the best deals on adjustable dumbbells that you can snag before October Prime Day ends tonight.
My favorite deal right now is these PowerBlock Elite EXP Adjustable Dumbbells, available for $339.99, down from their usual $399.99 price tag. You’d be hard-pressed to find a “best home dumbbells” list without these PowerBlocks near the top. The futuristic cubic look is stylish, but more importantly, it’s a seriously economical, space-saving design—which is the whole point of going adjustable over a traditional rack of individual weights.
Here are some more adjustable dumbbells that have caught my eye during Amazon’s October Prime Day sale:
MouldBody adjustable dumbbells are $212.49 for a pair, normally $329.99. These each adjust from six to 50 pounds.
CAP ADJUSTABELL dumbbells are $224.99 for a pair, normally $299.99. These easily adjust from 10 to 55 pounds in five-pound increments without knobs, pins, or levers—just a twist of the handle.
NordicTrack Select-a-Weight Adjustable Dumbbells are $319, normally $399. Each dumbbell in this set can adjust up to 55 pounds, with 2.5, five, and 10-pound increments available.
Feierdun Adjustable Dumbbells are $161.48 for the 90-pound set, down from $219.99. I’m especially drawn to how this system can configure the weights as fixed barbells, kettlebells, traditional dumbbells, or individual weight plates. Incorporating kettlebell swings and goblet squats without purchasing separate equipment? That’s a steal.
These UNNMIIY adjustable dumbbells are $151.98 for the 90-pound set, normally $259.99. These can adjust from two to 45 pounds per dumbbell, and they have a five-in-one design so you can use them as dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, and even push-up stands.
If you’re looking to build strength at home, but you’re worried about space constraints, adjustable dumbbells are the way to go.
