The official website for the Shuiro no Kamen (The Vermilion Mask) television anime adaptation revealed additional cast, staff, second key visual (pictured), theme songs, and a second promotional video on Friday. The anime adapting Dr.Poro and Nabana Naba‘s action fantasy manga is scheduled to premiere on October 10 at 5:30 p.m. on Yoimiuri TV and Nippon TV.

Rock band MAN WITH A MISSION (Vinland Saga, Boku no Hero Academia 5th Season) is performing the opening theme “Firestarter” and yutori (Witch Watch, Vigilante: Boku no Hero Academia Illegals) performs the ending theme “Koe.” Both theme songs are previewed in the promotional video below.
Tetsuaki Watanabe (Blue Lock) is directing the series at 100studio. Daisuke Oohigashi (Noblesse script) is handling the series composition and Hisashi Higashijima (Mashle) is designing the characters. Alisa Okehazama (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto) is composing the music.
Dr.Poro and Naba began serializing the action fantasy manga in Young King OURs magazine in February 2021. Shounen Gahousha published the ninth volume on July 6. emaqi publishes the manga digitally in English.
