After Zach Wood sustained a calf injury last week, the New Orleans Saints wasted no time bringing in players for tryouts before signing long snapper Scott Daly to their practice squad. But after appearing in Sunday’s win over the Baltimore Ravens, Daly’s time in New Orleans has already come to an end, as the Chicago Bears have signed him off the Saints’ practice squad.
However, the Saints once again wasted no time finding a replacement, signing former Philadelphia Eagles long snapper Cal Adomitis to the active roster.
Adomitis spent three seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals from 2022-24. In 2025, he spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers and was most recently a member of the Miami Dolphins’ practice squad.
