The official website for the television anime adaptation of Tsutomu‘s Ojisan wa Kawaii Mono ga Osuki. (Pops Loves Kawaii Stuff) manga unveiled additional cast, the theme songs, and second promotional video on Monday. The anime series is scheduled to premiere on October 4 at 10.00 p.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by BS Asahi and Yomiuri TV on October 5.

Vocalist Yusei Yagi (Kabushikigaisha Magi-Lumière 2nd Season) is performing the opening theme “LIKE³.” Voice actress Kaori Maeda (Kuroiwa Medaka ni Watashi no Kawaii ga Tsuujinai) is performing the ending theme “Toutoi♡Kaiwai.” The opening theme is previewed in the second promotional video below.
Tomoe Makino (Aharen-san wa Hakarenai) is directing the anime at LIDENFILMS. Yuu Satou (Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san) is handling the series composition and script. Tomomi Kimura (Kotarou wa Hitorigurashi) is serving as character designer and chief animation director. Alisa Okehazama (Himekishi wa Barbaroi no Yome) is composing the music.
Tsutomu began drawing the comedy slice of life manga on the Comic Polaris website in July 2017. Flex Comics published the 12th volume on August 7.
A live-action drama adaptation aired on Yomiuri TV in five episodes from August to September in 2020. Coinciding with the release of the fourth volume, BookLive released a manga video starring voice actors Kenjirou Tsuda and Takuya Satou as Mitsutaka Oji and Wataru Naruto, respectively.
