Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) published more than 90 food recalls in 2025, according to a recent report.
FSANZ coordinated 92 recalls in 2025 compared to 95 alerts in 2024. Undeclared allergens were responsible for 35 recalls. Microbial contamination prompted 23 recalls and 22 were because of foreign objects.
