There are a few things over the years that have cemented one’s It status: receiving an advanced copy of The New Yorker because you were on Tina Brown’s “Hot List,” being photographed by The Cobrasnake, sitting on the Marc Jacobs Heaven couch, and appearing in a Charli xcx music video. Tonight’s video release for her new song “SS26,” directed by TORSO, the duo composed of Miodrag Manojlović and Lukas von Haller, is no exception.

The singer first set the tone for her who’s who squad during her Brat era with her 2024 music video for “360.” The office siren-chic casting filled an entire downtown bingo card with the likes of Gabbriette, Alex Consani, Rachel Sennott, Richie Shazam, and Julia Fox, whom she shouted out in her lyrics, “I’m everywhere, I’m so Julia.” The star power continued during her 2025 Grammys performance which turned into an all-out, on-stage rave.

However, while “360” represented a power list of the internet It girls of our time, Charli xcx’s “SS26,” which is staged as a runway show, is a real-blink-and-you’ll-miss-it, if-you-know-you-know endeavor. There are famous public faces, like iconic fashion editor Carine Roitfeld, supermodel Debra Shaw, and Saint Laurent’s Anthony Vaccarello—Charli xcx was just appointed as a YSL beauty ambassador—but there are also industry movers and shakers like PR powerhouse Lucien Pagès and legendary sound producer Michel Gaubert alongside his partner Ryan Aguilar. (You can thank Gaubert for the runway soundtracks at Karl Lagerfeld’s and Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel.) There are also some of xcx’s favorite indie designers, like Benjamin Barron and Bror August Vestbø of August Barron (plus, their very own PR David Siwicki).

Other faces in the show’s “audience” and backstage crew include: Abraham Ortuño Perez, founder and creative director of Abra; model Ceval; Dan Sablon, creative director of Zadig & Voltaire; model and director Farida Khelfa; designer Gian Gisiger; La Watchparty’s Lyas; creative consultant Nhu Duong (and her baby Deva); producer Patrik Sandberg; stylist and model Victoria Sekrier; Supreme’s Zac Ching; and filmmaker Loïc Prigent. Consider “SS26” a partial directory of fashion’s insider faces.
