Bandai Namco Filmworks opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Manabu Yashiro‘s Tank Chair manga on Wednesday, revealing the main staff, a teaser promo, and teaser visual (pictured). The anime series will premiere in Fall 2026.

Yashiro originally began drawing the action super power manga on the Magazine pocket platform in November 2022 before switching it to Monthly Shounen Sirius in November 2024. Kodansha published the ninth volume in September 2025, with the tenth volume set to be released on March 26. Tank Chair has a cumulative 1 million copies of its volumes in circulation.
Synopsis
Shizuka takes on the most dangerous of assassin jobs, but she’s not the one doing the killing. Rather, it’s her brother, Nagi, a strong assassin who took a bullet to protect his sister, leaving him in a comatose state and having to use a wheelchair. However, Shizuka has figured out the key to waking her brother up: he must be faced with killing intent! Thus begins a violent journey of recovery, battling the most dangerous foes!
