If you feel that all the medical jargon on The Pitt is just “phony liberal science” and all Dr. Robby’s patients need is to just lift weights, inject ivermectin, and OD on raw milk, tune in to MAHAspital. Coming soon to the Daily Wire!

The latest episode of Saturday Night Live, with guest star Harry Styles, featured one of the show’s best sketches in recent memory. Titled “MAHAspital,” the bit roasts Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (sadly still the U.S. secretary of health and human services) and his bullshit “Make America Healthy Again” pseudoscience, which largely discredits vaccines and overemphasizes diet and so-called natural foods. The sketch basically reimagines the acclaimed HBO drama The Pitt if it were produced by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Jillian Michaels and written by current Department of Health and Human Services speechwriters. It’s glorious.

Lasting just three and a half minutes long, “MAHAspital” begins with Styles (as Noah Wyle’s analogue) ordering protein for a stroke patient. The sketch really cranks up when Ben Marshall, likely alluding to Gerran Howell’s Dennis, orders “60 cc’s of bull semen” and wins over Styles when he correctly suggests a “triple dosage of Alpha Brain and a cold plunge in blue jeans.”

It’s the little things that cement the sketch as an instant all-timer. The close-ups of Tylenol bottles and ivermectin shots, the “new” inverted food pyramid, Tommy Brennan (in makeup and hair that make him look eerily like Patrick Ball) cutting holes into face masks, Styles and Ashley Padilla oozing past sexual tension à la Robby and Dr. Collins—and Padilla selling the hell out of “DaWellnessChica”—and Marshall crushing it when he says his parents died of the Covid vaccine. “I found out they got it and I shot them,” he says. Immaculate.

Of course, the sketch is also an excuse to get James Austin Johnson in a muscle suit to play RFK Jr. Johnson doesn’t overdo it with RFK’s spasmodic dysphonia, but in demanding jerky made out of a dead bear’s meat, he plays the part perfectly. Call me crazy, but I would watch “MAHAspital.” But maybe it’s just my brain worms talking.
