Jeremy Stephens has broken his silence after suffering a devastating loss at UFC 328.
‘Lil Heathen’ was dominated as King Green – formerly known as Bobby Green – breezed to a first-round submission win in New Jersey on Saturday night.
The quick defeat capped off a disastrous week for Jeremy Stephens, who missed weight by 4lbs ahead of his lightweight fight at UFC 328.

Jeremy Stephens will fight on
Jeremy Stephens has lost nine times in MMA since knocking out Josh Emmett eight years ago.
The 39-year-old has recorded just one win in the sport that made him famous since 2018.
Stephens seemed to signal retirement when he took off his gloves after losing to King Green at UFC 328.
However, the 52-fight veteran promised to carry on when he addressed his latest defeat on social media.
“Keep it black and white,” Stephens captioned an Instagram post after UFC 328.
“Didn’t get it done. No excuses. I take full accountability for all of it. That’s what comes with this game and that’s what comes with walking into the fire over and over again.
“I know the risks every time I sign that contract. I know what I’m up against. Still, I answer the call every time.
“God got me. We recalibrate. We refocus. And we keep walking forward. That’s it.”
King Green’s reward for UFC 328 win
King Green demanded a bonus from Dana White immediately after his win over Jeremy Stephens.
The UFC CEO snubbed Green for a second fight in a row when he handed out $100,000 cheques to Yaroslav Amosov, Jim Miller, Joshua Van, and Tatsuro Taira instead.
White cushioned the blows by revealing he will reward Green in a unique way following UFC 328.
“We talked about it. You know, when you looked at the opponents and who they fought,” White said about his decision not to give Green a Performance of the Night bonus during his post-fight press conference.
“But Bobby Green has been wanting his own shorts, so he’s getting them. We’re making sure he gets his own shorts.
“And just for the record, Bobby’s not wrong,” White continued. “Bobby fights anybody, anytime. Stephens was 4lbs over, (Green) didn’t give a s—, still fought.
“All the credit in the world to Bobby Green.”
