The first trailer for EA Sports UFC 6 shows simulations of several big matchups.
It was announced last month that Alex Pereira and Max Holloway are the cover stars for UFC 6, which releases on June 19.
The long-running “cover curse” could once again play a factor due to the game launching just several days after the White House card with Pereira front and center in the marketing.
Earlier today, the first full trailer was released, with the promo video predicting that ‘Poatan’ will not suffer the same consequences as some of the series’ previous cover stars.

Alex Pereira stops Ciryl Gane and Max Holloway avenges Conor McGregor loss in UFC 6 reveal trailer
Due to both men featuring on the covers for EA Sports UFC 6, Alex Pereira and Max Holloway are heavily featured in the game’s first full trailer.
The promo opens with a fight simulation that pits Holloway against Conor McGregor in a rematch, which, according to rumors, is targeted for the main event of UFC 329 in July.
Holloway drops and finishes ‘The Notorious’ to avenge his prior loss to the biggest name in the sport to kick off the trailer.
Later on in the video, Pereira achieves a similar result following some back-and-forth exchanges with his upcoming opponent, Ciryl Gane.
‘Bon Gamin’ appears to be in the ascendancy in the footage before ‘Poatan’ flips the script, resulting in a passionate call from commentator Jon Anik.
The trailer also shows off what appears to be several new cutscenes for the career mode, along with shorter clips from other matchups.
Ilia Topuria, who many expected to see on the cover, is seen landing huge punches on the likes of Justin Gaethje, Paddy Pimblett, and Arman Tsarukyan.
The final shots of the trailer show Randy Couture, who will be available via the fighter pass bonus for pre-ordering the game.
