This article is very relevant and useful. Its goal is to help public health professionals communicate the fact that reducing a person’s risk to many common chronic diseases has the added benefit of reducing risk of Alzheimer’s disease or other related dementias. This can also reduce health care costs. Not having such information, published, vetted and endorsed by the government can increase human suffering in the American public and drive up health care costs. Some of

from the National Institute of Aging. However, both of these sources focus on direct communication to the public rather than encouraging public healthcare professionals to incorporate dementia reduction in their existing messages to reduce other chronic diseases.
