The official website for the television anime adaptation of Hiro Yuuki‘s Nijusseiki Denki Mokuroku (20th Century Electricity Catalog) light novel revealed additional cast and a character promo on Friday. The anime series will begin airing in July 2026, with exclusive worldwide streaming on Netflix.

Minoru Oota (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon S episode director) is helming the anime at Kyoto Animation. Tatsuhiko Urahata (Ookami to Koushinryou: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf) is handling the series composition. Kouhei Okamura (Free! Movie: The Final Stroke) is designing the characters and serving as chief animation director, while Takaaki Suzuki (Violet Evergarden) is in charge of world design. Hitomi Koto is composing the music.
The historical romance light novel won Honorable Mention at the 8th Kyoto Animation Award in 2017. Yuuki published the title under Kyoto Animation KA Esuma Bunko label with illustrations by Kazumi Ikeda (Hibike! Euphonium 3 character design) in August 2018.
