Her WAG era has come and gone! Rapper Cardi B and NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs have been on quite the wild ride in their relationship. They kept it private for a while, then had a baby, then seemingly broke up right around the Super Bowl. To answer the question posed by Cardi’s September 2025 album, Am I The Drama?, girl, you might be. But so is he.

February 9, 2026: A rough week for Diggs. By the day after the Super Bowl, fans notice that the pair unfollowed one another on Instagram, seemingly confirming split rumors.
February 8, 2026: Both are in attendance at the Super Bowl on February 8, where Cardi dances in Bad Bunny’s halftime show and Diggs plays for the New England Patriots, but the rapper left the stadium after halftime and the Pats lost, definitively, to the Seattle Seahawks. During a pregame red-carpet moment, Cardi is asked to share an “inspiring message” for the player, and she responds with a flat, “good luck” and walks away.
February 3, 2026: In the lead-up to the Super Bowl, Diggs is asked if he thinks his girlfriend will join Bad Bunny’s halftime show and responds: “I don’t know, we can call and ask her.” Another reporter asks Diggs if he will propose to Cardi after the game, and he says, “It’s on the agenda, maybe, right? Right?” adding, “I gotta get [my ring] first.”
December 2025: On December 16, a woman tells Dedham, Massachusetts, police officers about an alleged incident on December 2, when the woman—hired as Diggs’ personal chef for the NFL season—confronted him about a money issue and he allegedly slapped and choked her. She initially declines to press charges but later alleges that she received messages from Diggs’ girlfriend—presumably Cardi—about the incident, and changes her mind. Diggs denies the accusations. An arraignment is set for January and later pushed back to mid-February.
November 13, 2025: Cardi announces that she has welcomed her baby, dropping the tidbit within a lengthy Instagram caption, and a rep confirms the news.
November 3, 2025: Diggs reveals the sex of the baby to a reporter at the CFDA Fashion Awards, telling People, “It’s a boy. That’s enough for me…I can’t wait to make him do push-ups and sit-ups and run around.”
September 17, 2026: CBS Mornings airs a pre-taped interview with the rapper in which she announces a surprise pregnancy! “I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs…I’m excited,” she says, making it clear that her career will not be slowing down. “I’m happy…I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work—but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
Cardi shares three children with her ex, Offset. Diggs has two daughters with exes, though there are rumors of more.
June 1, 2025: Cardi makes it IG-official, posting loved-up pics of the pair lounging on a boat.

May 12, 2025: It’s official! After months of sightings, Cardi B and Stefon Diggs step out as an official couple for a Knicks playoff game at Madison Square Garden, looking so smitten and happy.
On Instagram, fans seem to be excited for the couple, with one writing, “Good for her! She found herself a good looking NEW guy some should learn from her…” and another adding, “She looks so good n happy 😍 go Cardi!”

May 5, 2025: Rumors swirl as the two are recorded holding hands on their way out of the Met Gala. Diggs is later spotted in Cardi’s old neighborhood, Harlem.

April 14, 2025: In a twist, Cardi’s estranged husband, Offset, seemingly okays the relationship. On Instagram, he replies to a comment on a post about Cardi giving Diggs a lap dance at a club, writing, “I’m happy for her !!”
March 29, 2025: On social media Cardi details threatening and harassing messages Offset allegedly sent her in the months since their split, and seemingly alludes to having a new boyfriend, saying her ex was also sending messages to “the man that I’ve been dealing with,” per People.
February 14, 2025: The rapper and the football player are spotted spending Valentine’s Day together in Miami.
They were also spotted earlier that month at an NYC nightclub. There had previously been chatter that Cardi cheated on Offset while pregnant, which she addressed but did not deny on an Instagram livestream.
July 2024: Cardi B files for divorce from Migos rapper Offset, her husband of seven years and father of her children (at the time, they shared two, and she was pregnant with the couple’s third, who was born in September). The pair have broken up multiple times before, but this time it seems to be for real.
