I sit here writing this article with my phone telling me the temperature outside is a scorching 32ºC, a figure that is only set to rise as the week progresses. Evidently, summer is in full swing in Australia, and with it will inevitably come parties and social gatherings. Any such event needs a soundtrack, and what better way to provide it than with a heavily discounted Bluetooth speaker?

I assumed the discounted prices we saw during the Boxing Day sales would have been long gone by now, but Amazon is doing what it does best: keeping prices low on top-rated models. I’ve found five fantastic discounts on models from industry stalwarts JBL and Ultimate Ears – including a huge 36% saving on the JBL Flip 7, which I rate as the best Bluetooth speaker for most people.
